Organizing your Cleaning Supplies

Organizing your cleaning supplies is a necessity to streamline your cleaning schedule. Summer is, sadly, coming to a close.  That means one thing for most of us.  Fall housecleaning.   Before I start my deep cleaning, we need to make sure we have our tools and supplies in order.

We don’t have a supply closet, so we use our cellar way.  As you can see, it’s a cluttered mess.

I used 2 Dollar Tree bins (love them) to sort tools and cleaning supplies, purging as I went.  I only kept the things I use on a regular basis.  My most used items are scrub brushes, microfiber cloths, non-abrasive scrubbing pads, pipe cleaners, magic erasers and old toothbrushes.  I recently came across Tuff Scrub 2 in 1 pads, and I LOVE THEM!!!

My Cleaners are all kept in the other bin.  I have been switching over to Method products, which I absolutely love also.

Super simple and cost was only $2.  I used another bin that I already had, for all my light bulbs.

Another one of my favorite things to use for organizing is an  SimpleHouseware Crystal Clear Over The Door Hanging Shoe Organizer    I use one for seasonal sprays and miscellaneous items.  I can see everything I have, it takes up very little space, and they aren’t expensive.  If you have small children, make sure you store any chemicals out of reach or locked in a cabinet.
