If you like hot wings, you will LOVE this Buffalo Wing Soup.  It is so simple to make, and only 5 ingredients.  This is one of our favorite soups, especially with the men of the house.  It is also easy to double or triple to feed an Army, or in my case, my sons and husband.  I wish I had their metabolism!!!

I use a rotisserie chicken, cut up for this.  You can cook your own chicken and chop, as long as it’s precooked.  We like our food spicy, and the great thing about this recipe, is that you can add as much of the hot sauce to suit your taste.  I brought some of this soup to an elderly client and her son.  He absolutely LOVED it, but a little too spicy for her.  It all depends on your individual taste.

My personal recommendation is to use a Slow Cooker, but it can also be done on the stove.  Make sure to stir it frequently so it doesn’t stick though.

My family hopes you enjoy this soup as much as we do.   Try some of my other recipes like Chicken and Stuffing Casserole or my Taco Spaghetti.

  • 3 Cups Cooked Cubed Chicken (1 rotisserie)
  • 3   10.5 oz cans (or 1  32 oz)  Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream (light or regular)
  • 6 Cups Milk (we use 2%, use what you normally do)
  • 1/2-3/4 Cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce

  1. (Slow Cooker)
  2. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker.  Stir to combine.  Cook on LOW for 4 hours.  Serve.
  3. (Stove top)
  4. Place all ingredients in large pot.  Cook on MED for 30 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick. Serve.
  5. You can garnish with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, or ranch dressing.
  6. I serve ours over a scoop of rice to stretch it.
  7. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do
